Basingstoke, UK (PRWEB) October 12, 2008
On 21st October 2008, Talaris (formerly De La Rue Cash Systems) will hold their first annual partner conference following its launch with a new brand identity. Over 130 business partners of Talaris from over 60 different countries are expected to convene for the global partner convention. Fittingly, for such an historic event, the venue for this inaugural annual convention is Istanbul. One of the world's cradles of civilisation, Istanbul is the city where East meets West and was chosen as the venue most likely to inspire Talaris' most prestigious partners.
Andy Brierley, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Talaris, explains, "We are delighted to welcome our partners to our first event under the Talaris brand. In these unprecedented market conditions, banks need to work even harder to retain customers and bring cash back in via their branches. We have a strong sales message as Talaris technology and solutions enable our partners to deliver reduced operating costs and improved productivity, so our products remain in demand. The global requirement for banknotes and coins will continue to grow"
Today, Talaris cash handling solutions enable 500 million banknotes to be processed globally every day. The world's leading banks, financial institutions and retailers, in over 60 countries, rely on Talaris products.
The event's agenda has a range of useful topics for delegates, including:
· A forum for any combinations of face-to-face meetings.
· Up to the minute product updates from all of the Talaris solution categories
· An in depth examination of the potential for new growth in the retail market - an unfamiliar market for many Talaris partners
· A summary of the key trends in bank branches, which poses the question: are banks the new retailers?
· A guest speaker from ProCredit Bank will share their recent experience with Talaris Teller Cash Recyclers
· A guest speaker from Supercash who is "cashing in on coin" at major hypermarkets in France
Talaris is currently in talks to line up additional top industry commentators and thought leaders, who will share their thoughts on a range of issues.
