Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) October 21, 2008
The Camcode Division of Horizons Incorporated will exhibit UID Labels and Services on October 27-30, 2008, at the Department of Defense Maintenance Symposium in Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. UID is a Department of Defense mandate that requires a Unique Item Identifier (UII) to track items throughout their lifecycle. All DoD contractors, agencies and suppliers are now required to include a unique item identifier (UID asset labels in many cases) on qualifying items including end items, legacy items and new government property in possession of contractors.
Camcode will demonstrate their UID tags and labels, answer UID label and asset tag questions and guide DoD contractors through requirements. Camcode is devoted to helping government and military contractors comply with Department of Defense mandated UID directives for MIL-STD-130.
Camcode is proud to announce an expanded UID Labels section of their Web site at http://www.camcod.com/uid/uid.asp - with more UID labels content including UID history, FAQs, links to resources, flow charts, UID label design tips and Item Unique Identification (IUID) background material. The site is now offering detailed information for DoD contractors, suppliers and DoD agencies.
Camcode streamlines your UID process. We explain the rules, help you with the important stuff and get you back to managing your business. Camcode is the most experienced UID provider in the marketplace and we know more about materials, marking, technologies, and attachment methods than anyone. All preprint UID label orders are preceded by a design proof and shipped with a MIL-STD-130 verification report. Camcode has sold asset labels for DoD and other industrial end use items since 1979.
