Physicians Wellness Network to Provide Evidence of Immunity For Olympus America's Medical Device Division

Physicians Wellness Network (PWN) today announced that it has signed an agreement to provide proof of immunity for members of Olympus America's Medical Device division. Olympus, which offers high-quality medical equipment for diagnoses and treatments as well as support training for doctors and nurses, must provide proof of immunity for employees before they are authorized to enter hospital facilities. PWN's network of Board Certified Physicians will work with Olympus to provide employees with clear proof of immunity status.

Jackson Hole, WY (PRWEB) October 15, 2008 -- Physicians Wellness Network (PWN) today announced that it has signed an agreement to provide proof of immunity for members of Olympus America's Medical Device division. Olympus, which offers high-quality medical equipment for diagnoses and treatments as well as support training for doctors and nurses, must provide proof of immunity for employees before they are authorized to enter hospital facilities. PWN's network of Board Certified Physicians will work with Olympus to provide employees with clear proof of immunity status.

As part of the proof of immunity services, PWN will partner with Quest Diagnostics to conduct the lab tests necessary to determine immunity status. Once an employee's test results are in, PWN will review the results for signs of immunity for five common diseases, including measles, mumps, rubella, and Hepatitis B. After the results are reviewed, the employee will receive a letter from PWN stating their immunity status for each disease. In the future, PWN hopes to provide immunity screenings as part of Olympus's pre-employment process.
