After launching the single point needles, we were repeatedly asked to bring a variety of needle types to our fellow knitters
Kenosha, WI. (PRWEB) October 15, 2008
Riding on the coattails of overwhelming response to its initial launch of single point needles, Signature Needle Arts introduces a much-anticipated double point needle to join the company's luxury collection of metal knitting needles and accessories. As the first company to develop high-quality, customizable knitting needles, Signature Needle Arts give discriminating knitters the opportunity to choose from a variety of point profiles, lengths and decorative end caps.
"After launching the single point needles, we were repeatedly asked to bring a variety of needle types to our fellow knitters," said Cathryn Bothe, president and founder of Signature Needle Arts. "Our company cares greatly about the people who make it successful and we always knew the double points would create the same impact as our first product."
Unlike other metal knitting needles, Signature Needles are the first-ever made to order knitting tools constructed from aircraft quality aluminum, each point is hand polished and created with extreme precision. The bold jewel-colored tones result in heirloom jewelry quality tools for a lifetime of use. These high-end double point straight needles range from $11.25 per single needle; $45 for a set of four; and $55 for a set of five needles.
Customers are given the option of choosing between industry standard sizes one through six. Lengths of four, five, six, and eight inches are available for most sizes. True to Signature form, the hand-polished point profile options are offered in Stiletto on both ends for all lengths aside from four inches. The four inch long needles are exclusively available in a stiletto blunt point profiles due to the nature of how most knitters hold the shorter needles - allowing for less hand discomfort.
