mau addresses head on problems of utility, sustainability, and style in her innovative collection of garments made of featherweight tyvek.

The entire collection POST INDUSTRIAL FOLK WEAR consists of garment, totes and accessories, is made of tyvek, a Dupont high performance nonwoven taken from the building and stationary trades and adapted by mau for persoanl use.

The material looks like perishable paper but is durable, washable, water/wind resistant, is made of up to 25% recycled material and is recyclable.

The collection presents a completely unique mixture of appropriated and recycled elements, folk and high tech design with the signature fit, artisan pattern making, and art infused details for which mau is known.
