As of right now, I'm working on a deal with Braun

Twenty-One year old college student, Lucas Davenport, is an aspiring entrepreneur. While balancing going to class and studying, Davenport also fits managing his webstore, http://www.MyCoffeeMakerStore.com in his hectic schedule. "I started off selling products on eBay," Davenport said of his beginnings. "I liked it and I took a step forward and got my own website. I love it."
The three month old site was built on the notion that everybody drinks coffee, something that Davenport himself is familiar with as a college student.
"Everybody drinks coffee and they need coffee makers," Davenport explained. "Why pay $4 or $5 for something that you could make at home. I mean, overtime, the amount that you spend at coffee shops will add up and would've been much easier to just buy a coffee maker to start with."
For a startup, Davenport has already aligned himself with big brands such as Black and Decker and Mr. Coffee and he's currently working on expanding the products that are available to him. "As of right now, I'm working on a deal with Braun," he said.
Aside from an increased product line, MyCoffeeMakerStore.com also has its own blog, http://www.Coffee-Maker-Reviews.com, where Davenport will post reviews and other fun tidbits about coffee makers and espresso machines.
"I'm reviewing most of the coffee makers on my site. I'll also have U.S. Election-based posts, comparing the nominees to what kind of coffee makers," said Davenport. "It's something that's fun and interesting. I want to invite people to e-mail or comment on what kind of ideas they have. I want something coffee drinkers will appreciate."
What people will appreciate is Lucas Davenport's hard work. Being a young business owner isn't easy, but try adding school into the equation and what Davenport is offering customers becomes a bit more meaningful than what big box retailers have to offer.
"We're a focused site," said Davenport. "We're focused on providing the best customer service, not to try and compete with the big sites. We want to be the best and offering coffee makers and espresso machines."
