Disasters Preparedness Offered in Carpinteria and Montecito by Walpole & Co. and the Red Cross

A free class titled Financial Planning for Disasters and Emergencies will be offered at the Carpinteria Library on November 6th and at the Montecito Library on December 4th 2008 by Walpole & Co., LLP with the participation of the American Red Cross Santa Barbara Chapter.

Disasters and emergencies have dramatic financial consequences that one should mitigate and be ready for. This aspect of disaster preparedness will be covered at a free class offered (1) at the Carpinteria Library on November 6th, 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm and (2) at the Montecito Library on December 4th, 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.

This class is offered to the Carpinteria and Montecito Communities by Walpole & Co., LLP with the participation of the American Red Cross Santa Barbara Chapter. The class will cover the following topics: Protect your health, life, and property; mitigating possible damages and paying for it; planning for the possibility of job loss and disability; safeguarding important records; preparing loved ones to deal with a disaster if one can no longer care for them.
