Strategic Imperatives Adds ISDN2 and Opens Up the Full Potential of WLR3 to Communication Providers

Strategic Imperatives the WLR3 innovator and market leader completes ISDN2 testing with BT Openreach and becomes the first solution provider to offer the full portfolio of WLR3 products.

Surrey, UK (PRWEB) October 16, 2008 -- Strategic Imperatives the Virtual Network Enabler and leading provider of Openreach integration solutions, today announced that in a major enhancement to its widely respected Evo21 WLR3 platform, it has completed the development and testing with BT Openreach, of WLR3 ISDN2 capability . Already the market leader for the analogue and ISDN30 products, Strategic Imperatives is the first and only WLR3 solution provider to support the full portfolio of WLR products from Openreach.

This latest development comes alongside another major milestone for Strategic Imperatives -the signing up of its 50th communication provider for WLR3 making its Evo21 WLR3 platform the most widely used in the industry. Strategic Imperatives already enables many of the UK leading communications providers to integrate with the Openreach EMP platform and is the only solution provider to have successfully delivered live EMP (Openreach Equivalence Management Platform) solutions for both LLU and WLR3.

Strategic Imperatives Evo21 platform enables communications providers to rapidly and effectively adopt the next generation of products from Openreach including LLU and WLR3 and offer their own branded communication services. The suite includes a highly advanced web based assurance and fulfilment portal, comprehensive back-end integration APIs, business process management platform and carrier grade interoperability gateways enabling communication providers to offer converged services to their customers and resellers in record time.

"This is a highly significant milestone not just for Strategic Imperatives but also the communication industry who require ISDN2 to complete their migration from Openreach legacy interfaces." commented Wail Sabbagh, MD of Strategic Imperatives. "By offering our customers the full WLR portfolio, they can accelerate the benefits of adopting WLR3 and gain an immediate competitive edge"

Commenting on this development, Michael Eagle, General Manager at The Federation Of Communication Services said, "We congratulate Strategic Imperatives on their achievement in providing support for the full range of WLR3 products. This is a significant development which many of our members have been waiting for and will encourage many to start serious planning for adoption of WLR3".

Strategic Imperatives is now rolling out ISDN2 to selected early adopters and is in the process of making the solution available to its entire base in anticipation of Openreach delivering its post beta ISDN2 implementation.
