BTI Systems Opens European Headquarters in Northern Ireland

Company to build software center of excellence in Belfast.

BTI is the latest in the growing ranks of technology firms which have discovered that Northern Ireland's highly skilled workforce and superb infrastructure combine to offer a great location for growing their businesses.

In a strategic move to expand its presence in the EMEA region, BTI Systems announced today the establishment of a new office in Belfast, Northern Ireland. BTI Systems, a global supplier of Intelligent Service Edge solutions for the delivery of multiprotocol services, plans to invest £6.7 million over the next three years to build a regional hub and software center of excellence in Belfast.

BTI's Belfast headquarters will be the company's primary operation in Europe and will enable BTI to continue its rapid growth in the EMEA region. This project is the culmination of over 12 months of collaboration with Invest Northern Ireland and will provide high value career opportunities and contribute to Northern Ireland's growing information and communications technology (ICT) sector.

BTI has been active in the region for several years, working with value added partners, as well as carriers, service providers and enterprises across EMEA to deliver total end-to-end voice, data and video networking solutions which enhance profitability and competitive advantages.
