Human Resource Management Center, Inc. (HRMC), a pioneer in applying cutting-edge technology to talent acquisition, announces AcclaimSM v6.0, an automated solution for companies--from SMBs to Fortune 500s--seeking to make their hiring processes more systematic, objective, efficient and reliable--and dramatically less labor-intensive. Acclaim v6.0 also offers a world-class candidate experience that enhances the employment brand, which is essential to compete for top talent.

The new version features a job analysis tool that facilitates the creation of custom interviews based on a combination of specific skills and personality characteristics that make a candidate a good fit--not just for a given position, but also within the context of the company's culture, which is a key determinant in job performance, satisfaction and, ultimately, retention. The tool is designed for use directly by recruiters and hiring managers, incorporating the expertise of industrial psychologists (normally retained by large companies) to create custom interviews that are uniquely capable of gauging skills and assessing behavioral traits. Industrial psychologists working for large firms can also use Acclaim to augment--perhaps refine--behavioral assessments and automate the winnowing of candidates to those who warrant their expertise and time.

"The new version of Acclaim takes candidate screening and assessment automation to the next level by reducing the time to hire while demonstrably improving the quality of hire," says Ron Selewach, CEO and Founder of HRMC. "Acclaim is an ideal tool for large companies seeking to streamline their existing hiring processes and continually improve hiring outcomes; it is also an ideal 'big business' solution for medium and small-sized companies to compete for--and land--top talent."

What's New in Acclaim v6.0

Acclaim v6.0 includes modules that hiring managers and recruiters can use to analyze jobs to determine what's essential for top performance, configure interview scripts that gauge candidates' possession of these traits, automatically administer these interviews, and rank order candidates from most to least suited. This process allows companies to concentrate their time on only those candidates that are most likely to be hired while the system itself provides closure for all who apply. The scripts are populated with specific technical competencies and behavioral skills validated through the automated job analysis system.

Key features of Acclaim v6.0 include:

● Web-enabled Job Analysis: This process surveys a number of Subject Matter Experts to identify the most important aspects of a specific job or family of jobs. These technical skills, competencies, and abilities obtained from the job analysis are populated into the system and used to define what is needed for top performance (as opposed to conventional processes that focus on what is required for minimally acceptable performance).

● Automated Interview Scripts: This component provides a skill library from collected data, which is then used by the recruiter and hiring manager to select and document the skills and competencies to be covered in the interview. These competencies can then be prioritized and linked with questions to verify a candidate's level of proficiency.

Once this process is completed, the script is activated and the system automatically administers the interviews to the applicants--significantly reducing the time typically spent on the interviewing, ranking, and rating process. Even though the process is automated, candidates are fully engaged via an interactive, completely natural, and individualized process, which is supported by Acclaim's rich multimedia capabilities creating a world-class candidate experience.
"Integrating a job analysis into our selection tool also offers a means of finding the best suited candidates without having to worry about compliance or legal issues that can arise," says Selewach. "It also dramatically minimizes the risk of making costly selection mistakes that can result from a less objective, systematic process. Moreover, employers completely avoid compliance issues because multiple hurdle, disparate impact analyses are automated."
HRMC AcclaimSM v6.0 will be unveiled at the HR Technology Conference and Exposition in Chicago at McCormick Place, which will be held October 15 and 16. Visit Booth # 439 for a sneak preview and demonstration. HRMC AcclaimSM v6.0 will be officially available in January 2009.
