InventHelp®, America's largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Hickory Hills, Ill., has designed a make-up accessory to make the process of applying mascara less messy. This invention is patented.
The "Lower Lash Mascara Guard" could prevent mascara from being accidentally applied to the skin below the eye lashes. The invention could minimize the time required to apply mascara. The device would help to prevent premature wrinkling by eliminating the need to contort the mouth to apply make-up. The unit would feature a disposable design and be easy to use for women who live an active, on-the-go lifestyle.
The Lower Lash Mascara Guard would consist of a shield made of sponge-like material with a wooden or plastic handle. The top edge of the sponge-like material would be thinner than the bottom edge, so that it would lie snugly against the skin below the eyelid and could prevent mascara from touching this area. The device would measure approximately two inches long, varying in shape and size for women of different ethnicities. A user would hold the crescent-shaped guard directly beneath the lower lashes while applying mascara. The unit would prevent smudges of the make-up on the skin. The invention could be offered in a box of a one- or two-month supply.
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor.
