Gwinnett, GA (PRWEB) October 17, 2008
Today, Gwinnett County District Attorney, Danny Porter announced his support for the re-election of Judge Richard Winegarden.
"Recent advertizing in the Gwinnett Superior Court race appears to be designed to deceptively leave the impression that I am supporting the opponent of Richard Winegarden in this race. Nothing could be further from the truth" said Porter. "I believe that Richard Winegarden is the best candidate in this race and I fully endorse his re-election as a Superior Court Judge" he added.
Experience and the ability to protect Gwinnett citizens from violent crime have been at the center of this race. Porter weighed in by saying "A comparison of the qualifications of each candidate shows that in every important area from knowledge of the law to case management, Richard Winegarden is clearly the better candidate. Judge Winegarden's sentences are known to send a message that he is determined to protect the citizens of Gwinnett County. It is for these reasons that I am supporting him."
Winegarden, a judge with over 25 years of experience on the bench, also praised the abilities of DA Porter. "Danny Porter's dedication to his job and his effectiveness in the courtroom is something we can all be proud of. I am honored to have his support for my re-election" said Winegarden.
