Version 2.0 of web-based Email Center Pro keeps business aligned with existing customers and new prospects; gives more speed and additional features at same affordable price point

This is a VERY exciting product release and we truly think this puts us in a class of our own

Palo Alto Software today announced the release of version 2.0 of Email Center Pro, its web-hosted solution to the search for intelligent management of collaborative email. The update, along with enhancement packages scheduled for weekly release beginning October 29, will transform Email Center Pro from a handy service to one that is perhaps indispensable for small businesses everywhere.

Email Center Pro was born in July of 2007 out of an internal dilemma at Palo Alto Software: How could the company become more accurate and more efficient in its processing of customer email -- both internal and external? The company realized that counting on one person to manage messages streaming into addresses like info@, sales@ and customer-service@ was not the answer. That solution was causing response overlap and missed email -- and it was costing them money.

The answer was Email Center Pro -- simple, collaborative and affordable. The next installment of the answer is version 2.0, which leaves the core components of the service alone, but adds a host of features that significantly increases the functionality of Email Center Pro while retaining the friendly pricing structure.

Beginning today, 2.0 users can expect the following:

  •      Faster service
  •      Extremely intuitive icons
  •      Powerful Saved Search functionality (formerly called Smart Folders) which allows for filtering and pinpointing of particular mail sets
  •      Easy, painless navigation
  •      Mailbox widget, which gives insight into mail behavior

"This is a VERY exciting product release and we truly think this puts us in a class of our own," said Palo Alto Software CEO Sabrina Parsons. "Considering the challenges facing small- and mid-sized businesses, capitalizing on every email -- and every potential customer -- is a necessity. Never before has there been such a powerful, yet simple and affordable, email collaboration system. Palo Alto Software looks forward to relieving the pain point of email for a long time to come."

Email Center Pro 2.0 transparently handles all of your business and customer email. Users can always see how many messages are in each inbox, how many messages have been responded to and who responded. Email Center Pro 2.0 reliably archives all messages, providing a history of every email that has gone through the service. Email Center Pro 2.0 is password protected and encrypted to ensure security and uses the Amazon Web Services infrastructure for the same level of reliability as the Amazon.com store.
