Charlottesville, VA (PRWEB) October 16, 2008
Silverchair Learning Systems, the leading eLearning provider in senior care, recently received an award at the Executive Leadership Dinner during the Annual Convention of the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The event took place October 6-8, 2008.
Silverchair was recognized as one of the Top 20 suppliers who support the initiatives of AHCA. This is the second year in a row that Silverchair has been awarded with the distinction, in only the fifth year of the company's presence in the senior care market.
"Silverchair is honored to be recognized for the second straight year for our commitment to supporting key AHCA events and initiatives," says Mike Mutka, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Silverchair Learning Systems. "We believe very strongly that it is important for suppliers to step up and support the association, and we are pleased to be among the top companies in the industry in that regard."
Silverchair's involvement with AHCA includes Bronze Sponsorship, 12 state AHCA partnerships, advertising in Provider, and sponsorship of events such as the ASHCAE Freestanding Meeting, the AHCA CEO Forum, and the AHCA Multifacility CEO Conference. Silverchair will also serve as a sponsor of AHCA's new Quality Symposium in 2009.
"AHCA is thrilled to have a company like Silverchair step up and support the association on par with many of the larger companies serving the industry," says Bruce Yarwood, President and CEO of AHCA. "We are thankful for their commitment to the association and its members."
