AirGenerate today announced the expansion of its senior management team to include Robert Kirkpatrick who will join as Director of Channel Sales.

In another sign of confidence, Gary Gerber, President and Founder of Sun Light and Power and President of the Board for the California Solar Energy Industry Association has agreed to serve as one of the company's industry advisor.

"We are truly excited about the talent we are adding to the AirGenerate team with the additions of Robert and Gary," said Rick Pal, CEO of AirGenerate. "During his seven years at Rinnai Corporation, Robert worked in several sales and business development roles. His deep understanding of the water heater industry, together with his over 15 years of sales experience, make him a valuable asset as our business matures and requires industry experts."

Pal continued: "Gary is a pioneer in the fields of solar thermal and solar electric system design being among a handful of survivors who have worked in the solar energy community since the Carter Presidency. His over 30 years of experience in energy-efficient technologies will serve as an invaluable resource as AirGenerate successfully addresses world-wide demand for clean, reliable, convenient, and affordable water heating solutions."

AirGenerate is a pioneer in the development, production, and marketing of patented energy saving devices for liquid heating. The company's first product, AirTap™ A7 is the most energy efficient water heater in USA as certified by GAMA under Department of Energy guidelines. AirTap™ is based on heat pump technology that utilizes refrigeration physics effectively to heat water. AirTap™ converts "air energy" to heat and retro-fits on to any 30-80 gallon water tank. This technology results in 300% improved efficiency and up to 80% in energy savings. The by-products include cool air and dehumidification. Other products include AirTap™ A12 (12K BTU) and AirVent™ duct kit. The company is currently working on solar and geo-thermal versions of AirTap™ and plan on introducing commercial and integrated models in 2009.
