Quality Care for Children has released the Fall 2008 Metro Atlanta Early Care & Education Guide. This is the sixth edition of the comprehensive resource guide for parents and child care providers. The Guide was produced in partnership Kessler Creative and includes complete and updated listings of licensed providers serving the metro Atlanta area.

The new guide provides information on child care centers, group homes and family child care homes, sorted by city and zip code. Included in this information are days and hours of operation, whether the provider is accredited and professional recognition, where applicable. Parents can also find out if a care provider offers meals, accepts CAPS or is a part of Georgia Pre-K. The guide also includes articles on the types of child care available, children's health and safety and stages of child development that are presented in English and Spanish.

A four-page section of Important Phone Numbers is also included, making a wide variety of community resources readily available to parents, including family, educational and special needs services.
