Golf Course Opens:

The excitement began in early May when Lake Presidential, the 18-hole championship golf course that winds throughout the community, officially opened for play. The course received rave reviews right from opening day, in large part because it masterfully incorporates Beechtree's lush, natural beauty. Home to acres of mature woodlands and a gently undulating landscape, Beecthree is a picture-perfect setting for this PGA-tour caliber golf course.

Golf Clubhouse Opens:

In conjunction with the opening of Lake Presidential, Beechtree's homeowners witnessed the grand opening of another signature amenity, the golf course clubhouse. This impressive 11,000 square foot facility is now being enjoyed by golfers and homeowners alike, thanks to its restaurant and full bar, which boasts panoramic views of Beechtree's 30-acre lake.

6 New Models Open:

The excitement continued in June as Beechtree opened brand new model homes in the Northlake neighborhood, and then followed with the introduction of an entirely new collection of home designs, the Villa Homes. These attached homes offer as much living space as single family homes but with less upkeep and maintenance. Adding to their appeal, many of these homes overlook the golf course and lake.

"Taste of Beechtree" Festival:

The opening of so many new homes and amenities inspired one of the most unique events Beechtree has ever hosted, "A Taste of Beechtree", held in early September. The event, hosted in conjunction with Lake Presidential, was a showcase of both design and cuisine, as each of Beechtree's decorated models hosted a different appetizer prepared by the chef of the golf clubhouse restaurant. In addition to enjoying fabulous food, guests were also invited to register for valuable door prizes, which were given away at the golf clubhouse.

"The event provided a great opportunity for prospective homeowners to see firsthand what puts Beechtree in a class by itself," said Aref Hinedi, Vice President of Marketing with Ryko Development. "Beechtree's attraction goes beyond fabulous architecture, amenities, and the prestige of living in one of the region's premiere addresses. The Beechtree lifestyle is all about being active and sharing a sense of community with friends and neighbors."

Monument Design Award:

The reasons to celebrate continued in September as Beechtree received a coveted Monument Award for Special Achievement by a Golf Course Community for Overall Amenities & Environment. The Monument Awards is the Washington Region's most competitive real estate design competition. It attracts entries from builders and developers throughout Maryland, Virginia and Delaware, and the winning homes and communities are recognized as the "best of the best" for design excellence. Winning was doubly gratifying for Beechtree because it marked the second time it has received a prestigious Monument Award.

Fall is a particularly beautifully time of the year to discover why Beechtree has had such a memorable 2008. The community is located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, just off Route 301, about 10 minutes from the Beltway and 30 minutes from the Nation's Capital.

Single Family Homes are now selling from the upper $300's. Grand Townhomes are now selling from the low $300's. Golf and Lakefront Villa Homes are now selling, as well, and 7 decorated models are now open.
