"Jay Walker's keynote will top off a very exciting day at the Inventor Showcase," says Thomas Frey, Executive Director of the DaVinci Institute. "With inventors coming from all over the country, a US Patent and Trademark Office job fair, and over 60 celebrity judges on hand to select the top inventions, this event is destined to change the lives of many people."
The Colorado Inventor Showcase highlights the creative process that drives new ideas and the desire to take those dreams to the marketplace. Judges include representatives of the media, corporate executives and investment / finance professionals.
Each of the exhibitors has a unique invention story. They are in various stages of development ranging from rough prototypes to products already in the marketplace. Some inventors are looking to sell their products and patents outright, while others are more interested in licensing their inventions.
Kicking off the day's activities will be an Inventor Boot Camp, a program designed for people who are serious about being an inventor. The Boot Camp will focus on topics like the top 10 mistakes made by inventors and how to recognize them before they happen. It will also help people understand specific intellectual property protection strategies.
Cost to attend the Inventor Boot Camp is $119 with a $40 discount for DaVinci Institute Members. Lunch and the Colorado Inventor Showcase are included.
