Camp isn't just for kids anymore -- Check out Camp Bow Wow® Greensboro now and receive your first day of doggy day care FREE!

Greensboro dogs jumped for joy as as Camp Bow Wow® announced their doors officially opened on October 10, 2008. At camp, "man's best friend" will make new friends, play all day, and snooze the night away in luxury anytime an owner must leave their beloved pooch behind. With the Camp's great location at 6207 Chimney Center Boulevard, the luxuries of this innovative concept in doggy day care and overnight boarding are readily accessible to all caring pet guardians of Greensboro.

Camp Bow Wow® is Greensboro's premier doggy day care for great reasons; the 7,900 sq. ft. facility incorporates three indoor/outdoor upscale play areas where dogs are always free to romp and roam. At Camp Bow Wow®, specific 'walk or play time' isn't necessary as pups enjoy the Camp's All Day Play, Sleep the Night Away® concept with other dogs whether they are there for just the day or for overnight boarding.

If missing your dog puts a cramp in your vacation, Camp Bow Wow has the solution! Camper Cams® are strategically placed in virtually every nook and cranny, allowing loving guardians to view their furry friends all day. After the day campers go home, the overnighters are tucked-in to private, climate-controlled luxury cabins complete with a fleece lined camp cot and given a tasty campfire treat before they peacefully snooze the night away.

To celebrate and formally introduce this great business to the Greensboro community, Camp Bow Wow will be holding a Grand Opening Event on Saturday, November 8, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.! This fun free event is open to the public and will include games, prizes, and special appearances by the Animal Rescue Group of North Carolina, Dog Trendz Grooming, Happy Hound Pet Training Services. This event will surely be the bark of the town!

"We are so excited to open the doors of Camp Bow Wow® and begin providing excellent service to our customers, both canine and human," stated Paola Bedoya, who co-owns the camp along with her sister, Claudia Weiderman. "My sister and I have always been animal lovers and activists, so this was the perfect business venture for us to combine our passion and our work."

Weiderman and Bedoya's dedication to the dogs of Greensboro led them to establish a relationship with the Animal Rescue Group of North Carolina. "We partnered with the ARGNC to create a special program called 'Pawing the Wall', where our customers can have their dogs put their pawprint on the wall for a small donation that will go directly to the ARGNC. Its an easy way for us to give back to the community that we love and to help provide loving homes for those less fortunate animals of Greensboro," said Weiderman.

Not every dog is right for camp, and the best way to find out is to set up a free meet-and-greet day for your dog. The meet-and-greet is a supervised play date with a small number of dogs of the same size and temperament. It's a fun time for your dog and helps them adjust to Camp Bow Wow® and helps the counselors have a chance to get to know the pup's individual personality. The meet-and-greet gives your pooch a free play day and a taste of a tail-wagging good time!

Camp Bow Wow® Greensboro invites you to set up your dog's personal meet-and-greet session today by calling (336) 323-3133, visiting, or stopping by in person.
