It underscores our commitment to creating a workplace that attracts and retains the industry’s most talented employees.
Livonia, MI (PRWEB) October 21, 2008
American Community Mutual Insurance Company announced today that it has made the list of "Top Workplaces 2008" sponsored by the "Detroit Free Press." The survey polled approximately 23,372 employees from 191 nominated companies throughout southeast Michigan.
To participate, the nominated company’s human resource department completes a questionnaire on several topics, including among others, benefits, company operations, career advancement, recruitment and salary administration. Then, employees are randomly selected by a third-party vendor to complete a confidential web-based survey aimed at gaining knowledge on the company’s employment practices. Once the data is collected and analyzed, the results of the employee survey are compared across all organizations and the top 75 companies are selected for the honor. The survey results and list of top 75 companies appeared in the October 19, 2008 issue of the "Detroit Free Press."
“We are proud of this recognition as one of southeast Michigan’s top workplaces, particularly since it is based on feedback from our employees,” said Michael E. Tobin, President and CEO of American Community. “It underscores our commitment to creating a workplace that attracts and retains the industry’s most talented employees.”
