We recruit, interview, and train hundreds of people every week; approximately sixty percent of which come from Milwaukee County

1,272 is an impressive number of employees for the young company of nine years, but what is even more amazing is that twelve weeks prior, BUYSEASONS, Inc. was a company of 120 employees. By developing partnerships with local schools, restaurants, and the community, BUYSEASONS has increased their employee base by 1,000%. "We recruit, interview, and train hundreds of people every week; approximately sixty percent of which come from Milwaukee County," said Vice President of Human Resources, David Karst. To provide some comparative insight into this figure, the average staffing service office generally employs 75-100 people at any given time.

In addition to employees, fundraisers make up a growing part of the BUYSEASONS seasonal team. The fundraisers come from local schools, colleges, and non-profit organizations whom BUYSEASONS has enlisted through the company's Community Outreach Program. Milwaukee Lutheran High School, MSOE Dance Team, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters are some examples. "This program is a great opportunity for students, their parents and teachers to raise money for school sporting teams and other clubs," commented Phil Wingfield, Athletic Director of Martin Luther High School. When all is said and done, BUYSEASONS will have contributed more than $70,000 to local groups this Halloween season.

The impact BUYSEASONS has had on the New Berlin and Waukesha communities has been very positive, and is bringing business to local businesses. "Since BUYSEASONS moved to New Berlin, our business has increased greatly," said Antoinette Placa, general manager of Atlanta Bread Company in New Berlin. Atlanta Bread is one of the local restaurants BUYSEASONS partners with for its daily lunch program. "It's like having a different restaurant right inside the company every day," commented Elesha Soldan who works in the company's marketing department. "The food is great, prices are reasonable and best of all I don't have to waste time or gas getting food. It's a real convenience," she added.

BUYSEASONS attributes its success to a number of factors. "Halloween is a great holiday, and each year the excitement grows," says CEO, Jalem Getz. "We have a dedicated team of highly creative and resourceful people, who have a passion for our customers, the industry and our great community."
