The Indoor Billboard Advertising Association held its annual convention this weekend. Tampa Bay Business owner Chuck Nelms was elected Vice President of the Indoor Billboard Advertising Association. Chuck Nelms was one of the founding members of the Association.

The Indoor Billboard Advertising Association held its annual convention this weekend. Tampa Bay Business owner Chuck Nelms was elected Vice President of the Indoor Billboard Advertising Association. Chuck Nelms was one of the founding members of the Association. Chuck Nelms is currently the President and CEO of ADvantage Indoor Advertising located in Clearwater. Advantage Indoor Advertising was founded in 1995 and is considered one of the leading indoor advertising companies in North America. Chuck Nelms has over the last ten years served twice as the Associations President. Mr Nelms is regarded as one of the advertising industries leading advocates and experts in non-tradition advertising.

In addition to his work with the IBAA Chuck Nelms has been active in doing community work in the Tampa Bay area. For 10 year Mr. Nelms and his company Advantage Indoor Advertising have been a major underwriter of the Florida Orchestra. He has also for the last for years been a major contributor to the Abilities Foundation and helped in organizing the foundations Tropicana Wine Tasting and Food Festival. This year Mr. Nelms and his company have started working with the Girl Scouts and The Hillsborough County Homeless Coalition to help advance and their organizations needs in the Tampa Bay area.

The Indoor Billboard Advertising Association was founded in 1998 by indoor advertising companies throughout North America that specialize in restroom advertising. The mission of the Indoor Billboard Advertising Association (IBAA) is to promote the common interest of all members within the indoor advertising industry. It is the mission of the Indoor Billboard Advertising Association to constantly improve the indoor advertising industry's business performance, quality standards and ethical practices.

The Indoor Advertising Association held its annual meeting in conjunction with the OAAA STAR Showcase (alternative media) held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. The Show Case had displays from numerous indoor advertising companies as well as the advertising industries most innovative, exciting products. The Indoor Billboard Advertising Association (IBAA) was one of the exhibitors at the Showcase along with other companies representing the latest innovations and technology in the fastest growing area of advertising. As adverting dollar move out of more traditional advertising media these non-traditional media continue to enjoy double digit
growth.
