The end user clients are insurance carriers that needed to improve the response time and accuracy of their water mitigation claims. In these times of frequent regional hurricanes, storms and floods, numbers of claims can be in the thousands--and all are time-sensitive. Global Bay's mobile software allows for the capture of site specific conditions and readings needed to process water mitigation claims more quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively.
The mobile application deployed for Alacrity allows for relevant claim information to be pushed to ruggedized mobile handheld Motorola MC70 computers, which are wirelessly connected to Alacrity's enterprise software. These handheld devices replace the cumbersome paper process previously used by field personnel. The application streamlines the data collection process by providing all relevant site information to the contractor in real-time and ensures that contractors follow set procedures to assess damage and deploy the correct clean up equipment based on industry standards.
