Secondhand Serenade scores his first platinum record with "Fall For You," which is currently the #1 song on iTunes Top Alternative Songs.

Today Glassnote Records is proud to announce that Secondhand Serenade's single "Fall For You" is certified platinum, with over 1,000,000 sold to date.

"As an artist, you can only dream of having a record go platinum. The rest is up to the fans and the team around you," claims John Vesely, aka Secondhand Serenade. "I can honestly say that this is a dream come true."

Secondhand Serenade scored a Top 10 single with the song "Fall For You," which is currently #8 on the Pop radio charts and #17* on the Hot AC charts, due to the support of fans and radio stations such as Z100/NYC, WPLJ/NYC, WXKS/Boston, WRQX/DC, KHKS/Dallas, KZHT/Salt Lake City, KUDD/Salt Lake City, KXXM/San Antonio, Sirius Satellite Radio and XM, to name a few. The first single off Secondhand Serenade's sophomore album, A Twist In My Story (2/08, Glassnote/ILG), which debuted at #44 on the Billboard Top 200, "Fall For You" is #24 on the iTunes Top 100 songs and #1 on the Alternative Top Songs.

With placements on MTV's The Real World, The Hills and Newport Harbor, The N's South Of Nowhere, and E!'s Living Lohan, as well as performances on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the CBS Early Show and an appearance on FUSE's Steven's Untitled Rock Show show under his belt, Secondhand Serenade was recently named an artist "On The Verge" by USA Today:

Secondhand Serenade will kick off a co-headlining jaunt with Cute Is What We Aim For, sponsored by MySpace, on October 31st in Allentown, PA (see all dates below). The last outing of the year wraps with a number of holiday radio shows, including performances at Boston's Kiss 108 Jingle Ball and New York City's Z100 pre-Jingle Ball gala.
