Gerbig Engineering Announces Vice President of Validation Services

Gerbig Engineering, a cleanroom manufacturer, is announcing the appointment of Michael Turnure as Vice-President of it Validation Services Division.

Gerbig Engineering Company, a designer, fabricator and installer of cleanrooms and cleanroom equipment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Turnure as Vice-President for the Validation Services Division of Gerbig Engineering.

Mr. Turnure has worked for Gerbig Engineering Company since 1998, and has been Director of Validation Services since 2005. Gerbig Engineering Company has specialized in cleanroom design, fabrication, and installation and testing since 1985.

The Validation Services Division provides cleanroom certification, cGMP (FDA current Good Manufacturing Process) facility qualification, and equipment validation to customers in the technology and medical markets.

Mr. Turnure attended the University of Minnesota from 1984-1987 and 1996 and majored in Geography. He is a member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers and the American Society for Quality.

"Our cleanroom validation services have become a significant part of our business," said Fred Gerbig, President of Gerbig Engineering. "Creating this position is a vital part of our strategic plan to grow this part of our business."

Prior to joining Gerbig Engineering Mr. Turnure worked in various positions in the construction, facilities management and food service industries and was active in the Teamsters union. Mr. Turnure also holds a commercial pilots license.

"We are very excited that Mr. Turnure has accepted this responsibility and are confident in his ability to grow this portion of our cleanroom business," said Gerbig.

Gerbig Engineering is a privately owned company located in Burnsville Minnesota. The company specializes in design and fabrication of cleanroom systems including softwall cleanrooms, modular cleanrooms and clean room work stations. Gerbig Engineering also does cleanroom certification and consulting. Gerbig Engineering products are used in many applications including medical cleanrooms, pharmaceutical cleanrooms, semiconductor cleanrooms and cleanrooms for microelectronics.
