DigiLabs Inc, today announced that it has entered a marketing alliance with Canon U.S.A. to better enable Canon imagePRESS digital press customers to grow their on-demand photo products business.

End-users will be able to easily create and order photo products such as photo books, cards and calendars using DigiLabs remote/home ordering as well as its Kiosk/in-store software solutions. The photo products are then delivered to imagePRESS digital presses for high quality photo output. As part of Canon's imagePRESS Workflow Solutions Program, DigiLabs' software delivers to imagePRESS digital press customers print-ready vector PDF files in an efficient workflow that does not require server software and is free of physical installations. It provides a direct path between end-user and printer.

"We are very excited to be partnering with Canon U.S.A. as our solutions are particularly well suited to imagePRESS digital press production," said Andrew Friedland, VP of Business Development at DigiLabs. "Canon imagePRESS digital press customers can quickly and cost-effectively enter and grow their photo business while empowering their customers with powerful and yet easy to use photo ordering software."

According to Tod Pike, senior vice president, Canon U.S.A., "The on-demand photo business is seeing rapid growth. Canon imagePRESS users can really take advantage of this emerging opportunity with complete end-to-end workflow solutions that include software, such as DigiLabs' photo authoring solutions."

Canon U.S.A. will be demonstrating DigiLabs software in the Canon booth #3000 at Graph Expo from October 26th through October 29th in Chicago.
