To qualify for the Puget Sound Business Journal's list of 100 fastest-growing private companies, companies must have been established by January 1st, 2005, and still be in business as of September 25th, 2008. They must show revenue growth over the past three years (2005-2007), and must be independent and privately held (not a subsidiary nor a division of another company) with headquarters in Washington. They must also have recorded revenue of at least $500,000 in 2005.
