Digital Advertising Leader and Former ValueClick, Inc. COO to Drive Next Phase of Growth

Gigya, Inc., the largest widget and content sharing platform for the social web, announced today that David Yovanno is joining as Chief Executive Officer. Gigya is ranked by comScore as the largest widget company worldwide with global reach of over 174 million unique users. Yovanno, who was also appointed to the board of directors, joins to take Gigya into the next phase of its growth and will be responsible for day-to-day operations and business strategy. Co-founder and former CEO Eyal Magen will take on the role of Chief Strategy Officer and continue overseeing Israeli operations as General Manager.

Yovanno was previously COO of U.S. Media for ValueClick, Inc., and was instrumental in helping to build the company into one of the industry's largest and most diversified online advertising networks over the course of more than eight years. As COO, Yovanno oversaw the company's display advertising, lead generation and comparison shopping business units. Yovanno has also held several other management positions at ValueClick including general manager, executive vice president of sales and marketing, and vice president of sales. Prior to joining ValueClick, Yovanno served as a lieutenant and chief information officer in the United States Navy and chief information officer for a naval hospital in the Pacific Northwest.

Yovanno has served on the board of directors for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), and holds both bachelors and masters degrees from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
