Sundance Vacations participates in Make a Difference Day by partnering up with Habitat for Humanity.

Wilkes-Barre, Pa. (PRWEB) October 26, 2008 -- Sundance Vacations has recently partnered up with Habitat for Humanity for this year's National Make a Difference Day October 25th, 2008.

Sundance Vacations employees will "make a difference" by participating in the construction of a new house for a special family in need. In addition to volunteer time, Sundance raised funds by auctioning off a vacation. All locations nationwide participated in this great opportunity to help in their community. All proceeds from the tickets will be distributed to the Habitat for Humanity local to each office. "This is our first year as a participant in Make a Difference Day. It won't be our last," said Sundance Vacations Founder Tina Dowd.

Sundance Vacations is delighted to give back to their community. Sundance Vacations participates in several charities such as the Northeast Regional Weinberg Food Bank (CEO), the American Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to name a few.

Make a Difference Day is the most encompassing national day of helping others. It is a celebration of neighbors helping fellow neighbors. Make a Difference Day was created by USA Weekend Magazine and takes place on the fourth Saturday of every October.
