HostGator Upgrades Shared Plans to Offer Unlimited Space and Bandwidth and Begins Offering SSL Certificates with Select Shared Plans

Effective today, shared, reseller, and dedicated web hosting company HostGator has changed its plan structure by upgrading its shared hosting plans to offer unlimited space and bandwidth. The upgrades affect both new and existing shared hosting customers.

Houston, TX (PRWEB) October 26, 2008 -- On Monday, shared, reseller, and dedicated web hosting company HostGator announced a significant change to its plan structure by upgrading its shared hosting plans to offer unlimited space and bandwidth. The upgrades affect both new and existing shared hosting customers.

With this change, there will be no space and bandwidth restrictions on any shared hosting plans from HostGator. The differentiation between the company's three shared hosting plans will lie in the extra features offered with each plan.

HostGator's entry-level shared hosting plan, the Hatchling, allows customers to host one domain name with their account, while the mid-level plan, called the Baby plan, allows customers to host unlimited domain names within the same account. The newly renamed Business plan, which is designed for customers looking to conduct e-commerce transactions on their web sites, offers shared hosting customers unlimited domains and as well as a free SSL certificate and dedicated IP address.
