Chester County, York County Sheriff's Office and Rock Hill Police Department to co-host SSI's SWAT Course in SC in January 2009

Security Solutions International, the Miami-based company, today considered the leading US Homeland Security training organization, is beginning new collaborative relationships with the Chester County Sheriff's Office, the York County Sheriff's Office and the Rock Hill PD in South Carolina.

Miami, FL (PRWEB) October 29, 2008 -- SSI's SWAT Counter Terrorism Operations Course is designed to train active SRT Team and SWAT Team members from the surrounding region as well as from throughout the country during this 4-day comprehensive and fast paced course. This course will take place near the end of January. Any active SRT or SWAT team members from throughout the country are eligible to participate and are encouraged to call for more information, including group discounts.

The scope of this training is to teach SWAT team members how to conduct an operation with the special characteristics peculiar to terrorist incidents and accomplish the mission, whether there are hostages involved, IED's, booby traps, or suicide terrorists while providing maximum safety for: citizens, team members and surrounding assets. During the course, CT experts will facilitate a series of dynamic classroom and in-field sessions focusing on topics including, but not limited to: terrorist organizations and relevant related threats; secure search entries training; infiltration tactics; the "pressure cooker" technique; night operations as well as multi-floor building operations; EOD missions; vehicle assault operations.

Chester County, York County and Rock Hill PD are the most recent additions to the increasingly long list of agencies to work with SSI, now over 700, and take the initiative to provide their personnel with the cutting-edge and unique training opportunities SSI provides.
