Gallisano College of Computing and Information Sciences (GCCIS) Honors Graduate Guides Technology Evolution

CAZBAH announced today that its technology development efforts will be directed by the 2007 RIT Outstanding Scholarship Award Recipient from the Gallisano College of Computing and Information Sciences (GCCIS), Louis A. Horton.

The Outstanding Scholarship Award is presented exclusively to students who have maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.85 out of a possible 4.0 throughout their baccalaureate studies. Selection is based on academic achievement, scholarship, creative work, service on student committees, civic activities, demonstrated leadership, independent research and professorial recommendations.

A 2007 honors graduate of the GCCIS, Horton joined CAZBAH in April of this year and has been promoted to the position of Director of Information Technology. Hailing from Wolmensdorf, PA, a small Eastern Pennsylvania town known for its agrarian landscapes, Horton says he feels, "right-at-home," designing and developing the company's technology solutions for its small business customers located throughout North America.

"Our goal is to continuously develop Safe, Secure and Easy-To-Use solutions that enable small businesses with very little knowledge of the web, to succeed," said Horton. "Providing a sophisticated yet simple content management system and then giving them the unlimited one-on-one support that they need ensures their success," he went on to say.

"We will continue to develop our technology with an eye towards the connection between the way people work and the way computer programs work. Computer programs need to adapt to the way people work and not the other way around," Horton Said. "Our Rapid Prototyping Model ensures that we will fail early, fail fast and fail often during the development process, making certain that the end results are simple, intuitive products that work. Products that the least web savvy to the most sophisticated customer can use," he said.

Entering its eight year in business, Cazbah has amassed hundreds of customers nationwide and continues to grow exponentially. "We've learned a tremendous amount from our customers about what it takes to be successful on the web," said Charles B. Broersma the company's founder and CEO. "We will continue to synthesize that knowledge into our technology and service offerings going forward."

CAZBAH is an Internet Marketing services company supporting small businesses by providing a comprehensive technology solution addressing all aspects of a business' needs on the web. For information and interviews contact Wendy Boyce at (585) 869-0905, [email protected] Go to
