New content includes a "Sustainable Service" workshop, featuring the Personal Energy Inventory™ (PEI) self-test to help staff achieve a better work-life balance, focused on energy, stress management and performance improvement.

In October 2008, CYFD, the Children, Youth and Families Department of the State of New Mexico hosted a training course for employees to learn about the new customer complaint tracking software 'Everest - Customer Focused Quality'. Included in this training was the segment on personal energy optimization - how to reduce stress and increase resiliency despite ever increasing work demands. Employees learn specific techniques how to optimize personal energy levels while at work.

One participant of the training shared that she was "pleasantly surprised" by the human component of the training, while another said, "I think this training should be offered regularly so everyone has an opportunity to attend."
