The House Designers are always finding new ways to help consumers find the perfect house plan to build their dream home. In addition to their collection of over 4,000 pre-drawn house plans, which includes conceptual house plans and exclusive designs only found on their site, THD recently launched its collection of 3D house plans on TheHouseDesigners.com.

Consumers can now view an exciting collection of 3D house plans that provide 360-degree views of the best-selling, most popular home plans from America's leading architects and designers. This unique 3D feature allows consumers to visualize home plans from all four orientations.

"We wanted to offer consumers more than just color photography and renderings, which is why we created our 3D house plan videos," said Jerry Axelrod, architect and president of The House Designers. "Consumers have always enjoyed our collection of color photography, particularly our interior images. This is just another great tool to allow our consumers to view our house plans in great detail."

Coming soon to this 3D collection is an interactive feature that will allow consumers to change exterior surfaces, windows and doors, roofing, lighting and much more to customize and envision their dream home before it's built. Consumers can sign up for the Dream Design newsletter to be notified when this new interactive feature becomes available.

Earlier this month THD launched a fresh, new design at TheHouseDesigners.com to enhance the consumer's online experience. The new site has a wider format, easier navigation with new pull-down menus, more interior and exterior photos of built homes, additional product and home building articles and ideas to help build a new home, 3D videos, live chat, Green Building information and much more.

One of the key areas of expansion was the Product Ideas Section, where consumers can go to find information about everything from financing their new home to building green to selecting the right appliances. The newest sections to Product Ideas are Green Building, Outdoor Living and Interior Design.

"Our new website gives us the foundation for efficiently providing consumers with much more information about building a new home, understanding house plans and selecting products for their new home," Axelrod said. "The new site allows consumers to easily search and find the perfect house plan."

Consumers who visit the new website will find the following enhancements:

  •     New page design with wide-screen layout.
