The Empire Football League is proud to announce the Quebec Titans as their 2008 EFL Champions. Quebec won their Empire Football League title Saturday night over the defending champion Vermont Ice Storm 12-10. The EFL has had Canadian teams as league members since 1990 and would like to note that this is the first time that any Canadian team won the EFL's League Championship. The Quebec Titans finished the season with an overall record of 11 wins and one loss. Their only loss was to Vermont 21-14 during the regular season

As a result of inquiries from several organizations during the current season, the Empire Football League is looking forward to celebrating its 40th Anniversary Season in 2009 by adding several new teams.
