InterExchange's Working Abroad program (http://www.workingabroad.org) has now begun accepting applications for the newly-created Intern in Argentina Program. The Intern in Argentina program is for college students and young professionals who wish to gain international work experience while learning about the culture and language of Argentina.

InterExchange's Intern in Argentina Program places college students and career-minded young professionals in short-term professional internships in the cities of Buenos Aires and Córdoba. InterExchange has a network of established Argentinean employers who can provide entry-level internship positions in over 20 different fields. Current fields include:

  •     Finance
  •     Architecture
  •     Engineering
  •     Education
  •     Marketing & Public Relations
  •     Science
  •     Health
  •     Law
  •     Media
  •     Social Work

Internships may also be customized according to the participant's needs and can start at any time of year. According to Tara Cavanagh, Working Abroad Program Manager, "All program participants will also benefit from a Spanish language immersion course that will polish their language skills before beginning their internship. The language school portion of the program is designed to take students from an intermediate level of Spanish to a more conversational level that will better prepare them for their internship placement."

The 10-week internship program includes all accommodations, meals, and project-related travel as well as some cultural activities that will highlight the natural beauty, history and culture of Argentina.

Other internship options include the newly-created Intern in Chile and Intern in New Zealand Programs. InterExchange Working Abroad also offers a variety of Volunteer Abroad, Au Pair Abroad, Teach Abroad and Work & Travel Programs. InterExchange programs are available in South and Central America, Europe, Africa, India, Australia and New Zealand.

Working Abroad is a part of InterExchange, Inc. (http://www.interexchange.org), a non-profit organization with over 40 years of experience in international cultural and work exchange programs.
