Motorcycle Clothing and Accessories Site Makes Its Online Debut
OpenRoadCycleGear.com, an online retailer of motorcycle jackets, vests, and accessories, launched in September 2008 along with an informational blog, at www.Motorcycle-Leather-Gear.com.
Reading, PA (PRWEB) October 31, 2008 -- OpenRoadCycleGear.com, a website dedicated to leather jackets, leather vests, and other accessories related to motorcycling, made its online debut in September 2008. The site has also announced the implementation of a company blog, www.Motorcycle-Leather-Gear.com, in late September 2008.
OpenRoadCycleGear.com was founded by Lawrence Roby, a lifelong motorcycle hobbyist. The parent company, Roby Co Inc, began in 1986, and this site marks their newest venture.
"I've been involved with motorcycles for a long time, so I know how hard it is to find high quality clothing at a reasonable price," said Roby. "I am really excited about Open Road Cycle Gear, because the site fills that hole in the industry."
The site is currently looking into expanding their product line beyond what is already present on the site. The current inventory includes men and women's vests, jackets, boots, chaps, pants, and helmets.
"We already have a great amount of selection on the site," said Roby. "But we'll always be looking for high quality new products to offer our customers. We're investigating several new lines of clothing, and we're really trying to find a quality rain suit."
The company blog marks the latest site update, and it will contain various informational posts relating to motorcycle and motorcycle clothing issues. This includes, but is not limited to, proper leather care and updates on helmet laws. Like many aspects of the site, the blog will be built with the customers in mind.
To that end, Roby is quick to point out that his customers will be benefiting from his years of business experience as well as his motorcycle expertise.
"I've been in business over twenty years. I know that my number one commitment is to my customers. I'm also dedicated to communication. As soon as I know anything, the customer will know too," said Roby. "Plus, I'm a biker myself. I know what bikers want to see on the site, and that's what I'll carry."
