The University of Arizona's Mosaic Project has awarded Io Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in the Higher Education industry, a major contract to implement Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions Release 9.0.

Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) November 3, 2008 -- The University of Arizona's Mosaic Project has awarded Io Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in the Higher Education industry, a major contract to implement Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions Release 9.0.

The Mosaic Project is the UA's Enterprise Systems Replacement Project (ESRP), a campus-wide endeavor that will involve the replacement of most of the aged administrative computer systems on the University's campus.

The entire ESRP effort will encompass four key areas- Student Administration, Financials, Human Resources/Payroll, and Research Administration. The Arizona Board of Regents approved the Mosaic Project funding in April 2008.

As the University's first major systems upgrade in many years, the Mosaic project involves several challenges beyond simple hardware replacement and software implementation. With the help of Io, the University of Arizona is not just replacing their Student Administration system; it is changing the way it does business.
