Colorado Youth Pipe Band Brings Echoes of Scotland to Holidays
Available for Holiday-Season Performances
Denver, Colo. (PRWEB) November 1, 2008 -- The Colorado Youth Pipe Band (CYPB), the state's only youth-oriented pipe band, announces its availability for holiday-season performances. The group's repertoire features Scottish pipers, drummers and highland dancers performing drum salutes, sword dances and bagpipe solos.
CYPB's more than 45 pipers, drummers and dancers have performed at nearly 1,000 events in California, New Mexico, Texas and North Carolina. In 2007 they traveled to Scotland, and earned several prizes, including 10th place in the world championships. In 2010, CYPB will return to the world championships in Glasgow, Scotland.

Founded in 1989, the Colorado Youth Pipe Band (CYPB) is the only active pipe band dedicated to teaching young people the art of Scottish highland bagpipes, pipe band drumming, and highland dancing.
