Servient Inc. has announced the addition of David Sandlin, a senior forensics manager with twenty-one-years of information technology and digital forensics experience to its computer forensics division.

Servient Inc. has announced the addition of David Sandlin, a senior forensics manager with twenty-one-years of information technology and digital forensics experience to its computer forensics division. He will serve as Servient's manager of digital forensics. Sandlin has extensive knowledge of Microsoft and Novell networks, electronic messaging systems and network infrastructure providing a technical perspective to the areas of data acquisition, analysis and preservation.

Sandlin has participated in multiple forensic preservation and analysis projects, which benefited from his technical understanding of network and system operation and functionality. He has significant experience in investigations involving electronic evidence, acquisition and preservation of electronic evidence and recovery and production of electronic data for litigation matters.

Sandlin holds a bachelors of science degree in information technology, is Microsoft (MCSE), Cisco(CCNA) and Novell(CNE) certified and is a member of High Technology Crime Investigation Association. Prior to joining Servient he worked as a forensics examiner for Huron Consulting Group and was a manager with Baker Robbins & Company for thirteen years.
