New York Claim Association Honors its History - (1914 - Present and Beyond)

Manhattan, New York (PRWEB) November 1, 2008 -- On December 13, 2008, a Gala Event will be held at the Harvard Club located at 35 West 44th Street in Manhattan. At this event, the New York Claim Association, Inc. celebrating their 95th Anniversary will pay honor to their history by unveiling the "Hall of Presidents" as a new enhancement to their web site. This not-for-profit Claim Association, was established back in 1914 and remains one, if not the oldest, Association of its type in operation today.

One of the motivating factors involved with the establishment of this Association was the "need to foster a forum in which educational claim related topics would be discussed. This purpose remains the backbone of this Association today as every President of this Association has unswervingly committed themselves to provide their membership with continued education that embraces a variety of influential topics presented by authoritative figures during that time" stated Glenn Femminella the Associations Vice President and Treasurer. Additionally, an "In Memoriam" section will be added, paying tribute to those individuals that have given so much to our industry and have left us too soon.    

"These improvements are a direct result of the imaginative and visionary individuals that operate this Association on a daily basis" stated Glenn. This legacy is that of the 64th President, John Sweeney, Esq. which will be presented towards the end of his final term.
