YourPetSupplies.com Adding a DNA Testing Kit
YourPetSupplies.com owners Pat and Neil Redeker have spent some time putting together a user-friendly online resource for pet supplies. Though they've only been around for a few months, they're going to add a new animal DNA testing kit, as well as a new blog.
Foley, MO (PRWEB) November 1, 2008 -- When Pat and Neil Redeker decided to open an online pet store, it was a desire that was forged from the love of their dogs and pets. Utilizing good old fashioned American ingenuity, the couple launched www.YourPetSupplies.com in June 2006.
Starting off with 1,500 products, the Redekers continue to add more items to their website and one of their items is sure to pique the interest of pet owners.
"One of our new items is a DNA testing kit for animals," said Pat.
"You can get a dog from an animal rescue, but a kit from us, swab their mouth and send it in and you'll get a complete bloodline for their dog," added Neil.
Another one of the website's new products is something that has impressed the Redekers to the point where they're also going to add it onto Your Pet Supplies.
"There are a lot of people who have small dogs and they use this little carrier," said Neil. "They fit in there like a child and you can take your dogs into stores that allow pets. But at least this way, they'll sit real still."
On top of expanding their product line, Pat and Neil have launched a blog in conjunction with their webstore. "We're going to try to post useful information about dogs," explained Neil of www.YourPetSuppliesBlog.com. "Information that isn't really known; we thought it would be helpful and interesting to have these posts for other pet owners."
While the items on the Redekers' site grows from a solid base of 1,500 products, they continue to update their website and to put up more information on their blog.
"We feel like we have a lot of helpful products and tips to share with animal lovers," said Pat. "Our goal is basically to help people."
