World's Best Hand Soap Can Clean World's Dirtiest Hands

Tired of dirty hands never being clean, Lynden Gallwas has taken soap distribution into his own hands, literally, with his marketing efforts at World's Best Hand Soap.

Grants Pass, OR (PRWEB) November 2, 2008 -- Lynden Gallwas spent 48 years getting his hands dirty as a mechanic. Now, he's making everyone's hands cleaner.

Gallwas has brought the next revolution in personal hygiene to the forefront of Internet shopping: Tarkelp hand soap, which he's marketing as "The World's Best Hand Soap."

The lifelong mechanic's introduction to Tarkelp happened one afternoon about 20 years ago. He had run out of hand soap on his service truck, and since having a supply of it readily available was a convenience he wasn't about to forego, he stopped at his local truck parts store for a new supply. The store didn't have what he was using at the time though, so Gallwas bought his first tub of Tarkelp.

"I really liked it," Gallwas said. "It's primarily an east coast product, so it wasn't too prevalent over here on the west coast."

Unfortunately, Gallwas soon found the lack of West Coast prevalence for Tarkelp led to his local truck parts store no longer carrying it. After a bit of a search, Gallwas found a warehouse in Eugene that had the soap in stock, but only sold it in bulk. "My boss wouldn't spend the money to buy a whole case of it," Gallwas said. "The long and the short of it is I just decided to buy Tarkelp myself but it was hard to find.

"After I retired I decided to sell it. I have used many different hand soaps over the years and found them to be wanting in one way or another. I always thought if I ever found a real good one I would sell it to fellow mechanics as I well know the beating that our hands take. Tarkelp is that hand soap," he continued.

As fate would have it, Tarkelp needed a distributor in his area, Gallwas said. They sent him materials to get started, and his idea has taken off ever since.

Aside from maintaining the Tarkelp name on the west coast, Gallwas has recently added a blog to his site: "I think my blog will mainly be about informing people about the soap."

According to Gallwas, he also wants to stress an importance on hand washing and personal hygiene in the posts, while trying to expand his clientele. Additionally, he plans to tell readers just how good his soap is, and what makes it different -- and better -- than other soaps.

"For one thing you only need a teaspoon of this fine hand soap at a time so it is economical to use," said Gallwas.

And also unlike other soaps, Tarkelp contains no ammonia, citrus byproducts or harsh petroleum agents. It cleans thoroughly, and still leaves your hands feeling smooth and genuinely clean.
