Christmas at Maxwell's DVD available in UK on 5 November, 2008
The new "Christmas at Maxwell's" DVD will be available in the UK, on 5 November 08. The release is being handled by Lighthouse DVD Distribution, Ltd. which will distribute the DVD in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. "Christmas at Maxwell's" is fast being a new Christmas classic movie. Laufer Film was represented by Cassie Yde of The Television Syndication Co., Inc. (TVS).

"Christmas at Maxwell's" is based in part on a true story. The PG rated feature stars Andrew May and Jacqueline "Jack" Hourigan. Maitland McDonagh of TV GUIDE called Christmas at Maxwell's "a rare example of truly independent filmmaking". Co-star Jack Hourigan is a McGill graduate, Second City cast member and Food Channel personality. She plays his wife in the movie. Other Hourigan credits include How to Boil Water (The Food Network), Ready as She Grows (DIY Network) and Three Takes (Slice TV).
This Dove Foundation Award winning PG-rated holiday film is connecting with audiences young and old. The musical score was written by two award winners, Mike Petrone and Richard Baker.
