Zosimos Botanicals LLC to Give Free Teen Makeovers at the DC Green Festival

Zosimos Botanicals LLC will be performing free makeovers in the new Green Teen Pavilion this Saturday at the DC Green Festival. The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics is holding a contest for teens to win a free green makeover, to be performed by Zosimos Botanicals.

Gaithersburg, MD (PRWEB) November 5, 2008 -- Zosimos Botanicals LLC (www.zosimosbotanicals.com) will be performing free makeovers in the new Green Teen Pavilion this Saturday at the DC Green Festival.

Zosimos Botanicals handcrafts exclusive green cosmetics and skincare from its Gaithersburg studio. The company is a signatory to the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and a member of Co-op America. Co-op America sponsors the annual DC Green Festival. The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics is holding a contest for teens to win a free green makeover, to be performed by Zosimos Botanicals.

Linda Stein, owner of Zosimos Botanicals will be speaking at the Teen Workshop. Linda will talk briefly about what it's like to start a green business and handcraft products. Zosimos Botanicals participation in the Teen Workshop is in collaboration with Stacy Malkan, a co-founder of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. "Stacy and I share a passion for disseminating information about the toxins in mass produced cosmetics" says Stein.

The makeovers will be performed in the Teen Pavilion of the Green Festival on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 4 PM. The DC Green Festival is at the Washington DC Convention Center, 801 Mount Vernon Place, NW, Washington, DC 20001.
