Joining the company are John Farley as chief technology officer and John Plunkett as vice president, marketing & operations. As chief technology officer, John Farley will provide technical leadership and oversight for Starfish's software development, system operations, and information technology activities. Farley has managed the development of software applications for commercial, academic, and government entities, and brings a wealth of knowledge in agile software development, data management and data analysis. He has more than 20 years of experience leading the design and development of a broad array of applications with a special focus on large-scale distributed data systems. In previous roles at Makai Technologies, Inc. and Century Computing, Inc., Farley led major initiatives at such organizations as NASA, GE Medical Systems and INTELSAT.

As vice president, marketing & operations, John Plunkett joins Starfish with nearly 15 years of strategic marketing experience and will oversee operations management, as well as brand and identity development, lead generation, marketing communications, public relations, customer marketing activities, events, Web marketing and industry analyst relations. Previously, Plunkett served as vice president of marketing for GetWellNetwork, Inc., the leading provider of Interactive Patient Care solutions. Plunkett was also instrumental in the market growth and category definition of Blackboard Inc. (NASDAQ: BBBB) as senior director, planning & analysis.
