Dental Laboratory Co-Hosts Dental Implant Treatment Planning Course
Treatment Planning and Long Term Maintenance of Implants, a continuing education course, was recently co-hosted in Eugene, Oregon by Crown Works Dental Laboratory, an Oregon based dental lab along with NobelBiocare & Brasseler USA. The course was presented by Dr. Patrick Hagerty, DMD and Carol E Beeson, RDH. Dr. Hagerty lectured on implant restorative techniques ranging from the history of implants to current case studies. Ms. Beeson spoke about the central role of the dental hygienists and implant maintenance.
Oakland, OR (PRWEB) November 7, 2008 -- "Treatment Planning and Long Term Maintenance of Implants", was the subject of a recent continuing education course presented by Dr. Patrick Hagerty, DMD and Carol E Beeson, RDH. This was course held in Eugene, Oregon was attended by over 100 dental professionals from Lane and Douglas County.
Crown Works Dental Laboratory, an Oregon based dental lab joined with NobelBiocare & Brasseler USA to co-host this dental course which provided 6 hours of continuing education credits for the doctors and their staff. Dr. Hagerty lectured on implant restorative techniques ranging from the history of implants to current case studies. Ms. Beeson spoke about the central role of the dental hygienists and implant maintenance.
Dr. Patrick Hagerty, DMD maintains an implant restorative practice in Albany, Oregon. He has lectured on implant restorative techniques for nine years. He has an active hospital practice and is on the board of directors at Albany General Hospital. He received his dental degree from OHSU in 1985, followed by a general practice residency also at OHSU. In 1997 he completed training at the Branemark clinic, University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden. He has been the charter of and founding member of three different dental study clubs. Carol E. Beeson, RDH graduated with a Dental Assisting Degree and Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Lane Community College. She has been a clinical instructor of Dental Radiology and Dental Hygiene at Lane Community College. She attended the Carolina Institute for Radiology Educators and the Academy of Osseo -integration in Seattle Washington. She has been working with Dr. Hagerty in his implant practice and as a Dental Hygienist for the past ten years. She has accompanied Dr. Hagerty on speaking engagements and presents homecare and maintenance protocol for dental implants.
