Gunner will speak and be a panelist at the California CPA Education Foundation Real Estate Conference in San Francisco on Monday, November 10 at the Hotel Nikko. His panel will discuss distressed properties. Mr. Gunner will also discuss recent changes issued by the federal government and the California State Legislature intended to relieve the current subprime mortgage crisis.

Gunner will speak and be a panelist at the California CPA Education Foundation Real Estate Conference in San Francisco on Monday, November 10 at the Hotel Nikko. His panel will discuss distressed properties. Mr. Gunner will also discuss recent changes issued by the federal government and the California State Legislature intended to relieve the current subprime mortgage crisis.
Mr. Gunner will share his more than three decades of knowledge and experience of real estate financing and transactions. Two other panelists will join him in covering topics related to current distressed properties.
"This is an extremely volatile time in the real estate industry," said Mr. Gunner. "No one has all the answers at this time with regard to the subprime mortgage crisis and its future economic fallout. But they need to be discussed as we look toward the future of the real estate industry, especially in California."
Mr. Gunner is a member of the California CPA Educational Foundation Strategic Planning Committee that was instrumental in organizing these conferences.
Mr. Gunner was named a 2008 "Super Lawyer" in three areas - real estate, corporate and business, and mergers and acquisitions - by Law and Politics Magazine and the publishers of Los Angeles Magazine.
Both day-long conferences will provide continuing professional education credits for attorneys and certified public accountants.
