Corina Collections and Twisted Silver Infuse Popular LA Showroom with Retro-Contemporary Designs and a World Tour Vibe

Tinsletown favorite showcases a mélange of metals and striking elements with inspired authenticity

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 10, 2008 -- Corina Collections, an LA-based showroom located on the 8th floor of the New Mart building, known for its representation of designers and manufacturers who offer impressive combinations of design, usage of materials and affordability, announces Twisted Silver has joined the line-up of notable designers represented by the established rep house. Twisted Silver begins collaboration with the showroom at the NY ATS Show - January 4th-6th 2009 at the Javits Convention Center booth #1116- where Corina Collections will debut the unmistakable authentic metals of Twisted Silver and the latest from French designer, Holy Accessories who offers a festive collection of silk dresses & tunics and handbags with a generous dash of originality and refinement.

As an industry trendspotter, Corina Collections recognizes that jewelry has begun a movement towards re-connection to the past while emphasizing the future based on an array of influences and materials inspired by the past. "Our goal and focus has always been to offer our customers innovative designers who make their own statements and are committed to creating the highest caliber of product," said Cori Burke, owner of Corina Collections. "This was precisely the attraction to Twisted Silver. The Twisted Silver brand is going to be a Corina Collections favorite with its distinctive blending of metals, textures and colors with instinctive stylistic expression. I know buyers and stylists are going to be wow'd."

As a cult favorite, adored by a distinctive group of celebrities, Twisted Silver designs are a regular at the Grammy events, frequently featured in many top style magazines, and network program events as well as a favorite of the Style Network show" How do I Look" and its host Finola Hughes. Twisted Silver also has the bloggesphere buzzing as a crowd pleaser on e-zines and blogs, and more.

Metal Power - Blazing the Trail with Authentic Metal
Known for its abundance of chain; copper, gold, brass, silver, steel, aluminum, Twisted Silver's offbeat use of vintage and salvaged gems and unusual elements have a whole genre of their own. Debra Mitchell, the visionary and creator behind Twisted Silver shares: "When I'm asked what makes my designs so intriguing I guess I have to say my practical nature when it comes to designing. I'm driven to turn things raw and utilitarian into something beautiful and wearable. Basic in their natural state, without efforts to create the so called perfection, that's where the real beauty lies- it is what it is - unpolished and unrefined and glorious. There is a place in my line for refinement, but what actually makes my designs come alive is how these opposing style forces play off each other. We are thrilled to collaborate with Corina Collections, and are truly honored to be among such a talented and prominent group of designers. We look forward to a very successful relationship."

Trend Watch 2009
This season includes metal mixing, statement pieces, and chain. Lots and lots of chain. Twisted Silver's broad and ever changing line embraces metals galore and combines a fabulous array of chain with unexpected vintage and other found pieces, creating unique and often limited designs.
Brass elements throughout the collection bring old and new world together in these Ultra-Modern designs. Brass has a mind of its own which makes it so well suited for the rebel Twisted Silver, often taking on the appearance of copper or aging in surprising ways. The incredible variations of color and patinas remind you that brass is alive and often leaves you wondering are this heirloom or are this modern?

As with all Twisted Silver, each piece is hand torched, pounded, drilled, twisted, carefully collected, and designed. By the nature of this hand work, each piece will reflect its very own look and feel.
