Long Beach, CA (PRWEB) November 9, 2008 -- KarmaDharma Radio with Suzanne continues its podcast series on Yaktivate.com with an appropriately- themed month of Feeding Each Other. Suzanne Toro, host of the show, is all about inspiration and giving back to people, the planet and the world.

This month Toro's guests exemplify the spirit of reaching out to help others. Week one will feature guest Matt Atwood, who offers a background in science and community organizing. Long involved in non-profit management, he is currently employed at Biodiesel Systems where he manages the development of next-generation algae to bio-fuel technologies. In week two, Toro talks to Guri Mehta, co-founder of CharityFocus.org, who shares her journey of her walking pilgrimage and her commitment to be of service to others and how her actions feed her mind and soul.

Week three will find KarmaDharma Radio featuring Raju Panchal who discusses Seva Café with BeTheCause.org. The Seva Café has just re-opened in Long Beach, California, and is an experiment in the joy of giving. And finally, week four features Christine Bolles, discussing the Power of Women Feeding a Village. Bolles talks about her journey to Ecuador to feed a village and how Ecuador fed her heart and soul.

Matt Atwood is helping to feed others by focusing on three areas: breaking bread, feeding the earth, and food deliveries. Having been involved with many non-profits he currently serves on the board of directors for the Conscious Alliance and the American Rainbow Rapid Response. Each year he coordinates a village at Burning Man by creating facilities that include a kitchen, toilets and showers, etcetera. Atwood now uses that experience to build such a village anywhere in the world for emergency disaster relief. Additionally, he works with Our Future Now which is launching a large media campaign to promote renewable energy technologies and sustainability. Lastly, Atwood works food deliveries into the equation by supporting America's Second Harvest Food Bank Affiliates and independent food banks. More information about Atwood's projects may be found here: enthionvillage.com, consciousalliance.org and secondharvest.org.

Guri Mehta is co-founder of Charity Focus.org, a volunteer-run organization that leverages the internet to inspire values that build the world's inner-net. Since the inception of Charity Focus in 1999, the group's membership has grown to more than 200,000 and has become an incubator of "gift-economy" projects. Mehta shares her journey of her walking pilgrimage with her husband which began in January 2005. She and her husband embarked on an open-ended walking pilgrimage in India to use their hands to do random acts of kindness, their heads to profile inspiring everyday heroes, and their hearts to cultivate trust. Mehta and her husband walked more than 1000 kilometers, living on a dollar a day before ending their journey. Learn about Mehta's commitment to be of service to others with a warm meal and how she takes action and melds it into feeding her mind and soul.

Raju Panchal introduces the Seva Café with bethecause.org, located at Zephyr's in Long Beach, California, where Sunday evening dining takes on a whole new meaning. All items at the Seva Café are intended to be served with love by volunteers, and are listed on the menu without any pricing. Every guest has the opportunity at the end of their meal to participate in the circle of giving by making a donation of any amount. All donations are used to pay for future guests' meals. Panchal talks about the original Seva Café and what was learned during that experience. Ultimately, he and others at bethecause.org discovered that giving not only benefits the receiver but also the giver. Local musicians even gift their talents to the patrons at Seva Café. Panchal's stories convey the gift of feeding others in a unique setting complimented by the authentic intention of giving and receiving.

Christine Bolles has fifteen years of marketing experience in wireless telecommunications and has been an executive for both AT&T and Nokia, and is a member of Our Future Now. Bolles has established a track record marked with building some of the world's biggest brands. Her corporate experience afforded Bolles the opportunity to launch many successful technology start-ups, create winning corporate sponsorships, and develop intimate relationships with consumers. As part of the Our Future Now family, she bridges companies to the icons that their customers admire, causes that build brand and character, technologies that benefit the bottom line and the world, and the individual consumers who decide what the future holds. Bolles talks about how her travels to Ecuador to give to others during the Power of Women Feeding a Village and how they fed her heart and soul.
